Member of the Board of VAE (Visaginas Nuclear Power Holding), biggest energy holding company in the Baltic States and the development company of new Visaginas NPP.

Education: 1999-2001 – Master of Business Administration. Global Executive MBA, Copenhagen Business School and INSEAD’s CALT.

Master thesis: Profitability models in the Professional Service Firms.

1990-1994 – Bachelor of Arts from Vilnius University, Department of Philology and Scandinavian languages.

Other training: Participated in a number of training programs for leadership development, consulting practice development, management, negotiation techniques and cross-cultural management.

Professional experience: 2010-2012 Interim Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe and member of the Management Board of Swedish Trade Council

Overall responsible of STC current operations and business development in Central and Eastern Europe, including operations in Russia, Ukraine, Baltic States, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Romania

2008-2010 - Head of The Baltic States Unit at Swedish Trade Council. Overall responsible of STC operations in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, as well as Business Development. Member of Management Group for Central and Eastern Europe.

1999-2008 – Executive Officer of Swedish Trade Council (STC), Lithuania.

Overall responsibility for operations of STC in Lithuania. Emphasis on strategy, client relationship and practice development, budget, sales and HR management functions. Special practice areas: strategy, M&A, recruitment of board positions, business to government affairs.

Managerial achievements during the period:

Rapidly expanded advisory activities of STC in Lithuania. Achieved sustainable growth in both professional fees as well as solid profitability.

In 2008-2009 performed a drastical turnaround, including reengineering of Swedish Trade Council operations in the Baltic States. Quickly adapted to a post-crisis business environment and retained the profitability of the Baltic operations.

During 2011 in the role of Interim Vice President performed a turnaround of Central and Eastern European operations.

Professional achievements during the period:

Acted as Lead Manager, Advisor and overall Client responsible in different projects across Baltic States related to entry strategy and acquisitions with focus on Telecom and IT, Media, FMCG, Logistics, Hospitality and hotel industries.

1998 - 1999. Advisor and Lead manager for major Scandinavian telecom consortium in privatization process of Lietuvos Telekomas. Deal value: 510 MUSD.

1999. Lead Manager and Advisor for one of the biggest Scandinavian media holdings in acquisition process of main commercial TV channel.

2000. Advisor for a major Scandinavian transport company in acquisition process of small parcel delivery business in Lithuania.

2001. Advisor and Lead manager for major Scandinavian hotel chain in acquisition of a hotel management company in Lithuania

2002-2003. Advisor for world-wide leader in VAT refund services in establishment strategy in Lithuania.

2003. Lead manager for one of the biggest Scandinavian media holdings in divestment process from main Lithuanian commercial TV channel.

2001 March – 2003. Responsible for strategic development project of STC services in Kiev, Ukraine.

1996-1998 – Consultant and Project Leader, Swedish Trade Council, Lithuania. Responsible for sales and execution of consulting projects across different industries in Lithuania.

1994 – 1996 – Assistant of Trade Commissioner, Swedish Trade Council office in Vilnius, Lithuania. Responsible for data gathering and development of market reports across different industries.

Languages: Swedish – excellent, English – excellent, Russian – excellent, Lithuanian – fluent (mother tongue), basic knowledge of Danish, Norwegian, German and Polish.

Memberships and Board assignments: A member of Vilnius Perkunas Rotary Club. Positions held: member of the Board, secretary of the Club.
